Joint Commission announced that emergency management and preparedness is
one area that surveyors will focus on in 2002 surveys.
The Joint Commission statement, “One of the surveyor’s most
important roles in the nation today is to assist organizations in
achieving their goals in emergency management…” clearly identifies
this as an area where hospitals will need to prepare. This
seminar will provide detailed, practical information on how to comply with
JCAHO Environment of Care Emergency Preparedness Standard.

Hospital Emergency Incident Command System. During
