Course Description:

This program is designed to provide an overview of the changes to the JCAHO 2002 standards and survey process. It will provide survey coordinators, quality management staff, entry level management staff, nursing leaders, and support staff an overview of some of the “hot topics” in each of the functional chapters.” Some of the process changes, including ICE (Individual Centered Evaluation) and a review of the components of an “Off Shift” visit will be reviewed.
