Course Description
This presentation focuses on the case management organization designs and elements that will meet the demands of the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation and the URAC Standards for Accreditation of Case Management Organizations. Confidentiality issues and the required elements of a Case Management Plan will be detailed, and case results/outcomes in the workers' compensation arena will be discussed to reconcile the conflicting demands of the Ohio BWC and the URAC standards.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion, trainees will demonstrate an understanding of
how to reconcile the demands of state-mandated workers' compensation
regulations with URAC standards.
