John Fogel

Mr. Fogel currently is a senior safety consultant. He was formerly employed by the Ohio BWC as Columbus South’s Industrial District Safety Manager. In this position he directed and lead a consulting staff of 10 safety consultants, ergonomists and industrial hygienists in conducting Bureau safety activities.

Prior to his employment with the BWC, he was a safety consultant and Industrial Division Section Administrator with the National Safety Council for 10 years. As a consultant with the NSC, he was a comprehensive safety service provider. He has extensive experience in: performing safety and health assessments, developing accident prevention programs and systems, and developing and delivering training programs. He has spoken nationally, on various safety topics and has authored several articles.

Mr. Fogel has also been a chemical plant manager, a corrosion engineer for a chemical manufacturer, and a chemist for a petroleum company.
