Electrical SafetyThe objective of Electrical Safety training is to provide employees with general awareness classroom instruction in safe work practices around electricity. Training is required for employees who face the risk of electrical shock that has not been reduced to a safe level. "Qualified persons" -- those permitted to work on or near exposed energized parts -- are subject to additional training requirements not addressed by this program. This training program is designed to satisfy, in whole or in part, the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.332(b)(1).
