Emergency Action/Fire Prevention Plan

The objective of Emergency Action/Fire Prevention Plan training is to train employees in the safe and effective response to workplace emergencies. All employees are potentially affected by workplace emergencies, and should receive training in appropriate response. This training program is designed to satisfy, in whole or in part, the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.38(a)(5), (b)(4) and 29 CFR 1910.165(b)(4).

Upon successful completion of training, trainees will demonstrate an understanding of:

• The procedures for reporting an emergency
• Your facility's emergency alarms
• The key components of your company's Emergency Action Plan and the role of each employee
• Evacuation procedures
• The fire hazards to which employees may be exposed
• The key components of your company's Fire Prevention Plan and the role of each employee
